Google Farmers Update: Googles new Farm Algorithm

6:01pmGMT

What happened?

Google is constantly making changes and updates to their search engine, many of which are subtle and remain unnoticed. Recently however, Google developed a content farm algorithm that would block low-quality scraper sites from showing up through the search engine. 4:18pmGMT

Recently I encountered this post on the Drupal.org forums: Take a read....

Now, I've made a couple drupal sites, I'm not technical really... I mostly just install modules, read their instructions, follow the recommended guidelines and leave it at that. Drupal seems to allow to to build a nice site for the user, but I've noticed in the two sites I've built they never does well in search engines despite taking the recommended steps to improve drupals SEO(seo checker, page titles, clean urls, drupal zen as base theme, global redirect, xml sitemap, etc). You could say its all my fault, but it doesn't seem that simple.
